The Healthy Nightlife Toolbox (HNT) is an international initiative that focuses on the reduction of harm related to alcohol and drug use among young people.
The project, developed during 2007-2010, has had as a result a website including comprehensive databases on evaluated interventions, literature, good to know background information and experts working in recreational nightlife within the EU. This collection of information is been designed for local, regional and national policy makers and professionals working on the prevention field. The project has also produced a Handbook to develop alcohol and drug prevention interventions in nightlife settings available though the website.
In this project, leaded by TRIMBOS Institute in the Netherlands, have also collaborated the Centre for Public Health of the LJMU, the National Institute for Drug Prevention in Budapest, VAD and IREFREA-Spain.
